LETS MAKE OUR VOICES HEARD! 1000 VOICES
Slum2school Africa, a volunteer based development organization driven by young social reformers to provide scholarship and psycho-social support for orphans and vulnerable children (OVC’s) in slums in Nigeria and across Africa, launched its campaign for 2013/2014 Academic session tagged #1000 Voices in August 2013 and was meant to last till September 2014.
The campaign was geared towards enrolling 1000 kids from 5 communities namely Makoko, Okuagbo, Sogunlo, Aiyetoru in Yaba Local Government and Emina community, a remote island in Epe into schools under our scholarship and support programs.
Slum2School Africa was founded in February 2012 and since then; it has enrolled about 650 children into schools around Lagos.
